As Creative Director and Designer at Skullz, I partnered directly with the CEO to architect the company's visual identity ecosystem. Together, we expanded beyond the core Skullz brand to launch specialized divisions including streetwear, arena experiences, and educational initiatives.
Navigating the company's extensive design needs required strategic balancing of growth objectives, team development, client relationships, and brand cohesion. Our agile structure enabled rapid execution across diverse creative disciplines - from logo design and branding to jersey concepts, motion graphics, 3D visualization, and targeted marketing campaigns.
This multifaceted role allowed me to thrive at the intersection of creative leadership and hands-on design execution, delivering cohesive visual storytelling across all brand touchpoints.

The Voice of the System
Within Skullz's ecosystem, design served as the cornerstone of our brand narrative. Our visual identity didn't merely attract clients - it established Skullz as a distinctive force in the hyper-competitive esports landscape. Through strategic design choices, we crafted a visual language that resonated across platforms and audiences, elevating Skullz beyond commodity status to cultural relevance. Each design element was deliberately engineered to amplify brand recognition and forge emotional connections with our community. This design-first approach became instrumental in our mission to transform Skullz from industry player to household name within esports culture.

Adding a Bit of Movement
While my primary responsibilities at Skullz centered on brand architecture and visual identity systems, I strategically developed select motion and 3D assets that complemented our broader creative vision. These specialized elements - showcased below - represent targeted applications where dynamic visuals enhanced our storytelling capabilities. Though comprising a focused portion of my portfolio at Skullz, these motion and 3D executions demonstrate my versatility in deploying advanced visual techniques when project objectives demanded dimensional storytelling beyond static design.

Esports Pro Teams Engagment
At Skullz, we elevated client relationships beyond standard creative services by functioning as strategic narrative partners. Through focused discovery sessions and rapid iteration cycles, we uncovered each team's authentic story and purpose - insights that informed every design decision. This collaborative approach positioned us as an extension of their organization, delivering visual experiences that resonated deeply with fans while achieving measurable improvements in engagement and brand recognition across the competitive esports landscape.
- 05 excellence
Internal Styling
As active gamers themselves, Skullz leadership embodied the brand's authentic connection to gaming culture. We strategically developed internal assets - custom jerseys and branded collateral - enabling our team to serve as living ambassadors of the premium experience we delivered to professional, educational, and amateur organizations across the esports ecosystem.

Conventions Jealousy
For gaming conventions, the Skullz brand required unmistakable presence amid industry noise. Working directly with the CEO, I translated our brand language into dimensionally accurate 3D retail concepts - designing immersive spaces that transformed standard convention footprints into distinctive brand environments where customers could physically engage with the Skullz aesthetic and purchasing experience.

Sweating the Details
These logos represent a fraction of the rigorous creative process at Skullz - countless iterations refined through strategic narrative development and technical execution. I approached each mark with precision, knowing our visual identity needed to command respect alongside established esports apparel giants. Every design decision prioritized both visual impact and storytelling capability, creating emblems our customers would proudly wear and enthusiastically advocate for - transforming them from passive consumers into active brand ambassadors within the gaming community.

A Plethora of Designs
At Skullz, I orchestrated hundreds of design projects spanning our complete product ecosystem - jerseys, arm bands, flags, joggers, jackets, hoodies, and mouse pads. Each item demanded tailored design approaches while maintaining brand cohesion, deliberately avoiding the template-driven uniformity that plagues competitor offerings in esports apparel. This strategic design diversity became a key market differentiator, allowing Skullz to deliver authentically distinctive products across all touchpoints.

Iteration Was the Game
For every product in the Skullz ecosystem - from mouse pads to premium apparel - I maintained rigorous design standards that balanced distinctive appeal with cohesive brand language. My process embraced relentless iteration and unsentimental evaluation, willingly abandoning promising concepts that didn't advance our strategic vision. This disciplined approach ensured each item delivered both individual impact and contributed to our comprehensive brand narrative in the competitive esports marketplace.
