Two Decades of Creative Problem-Solving

Growing up in the North Georgia Mountains, Josh spent his childhood much like any other kid - setting up elaborate battlefields with his GI Joes and staging martial arts showdowns between characters like Jinx and Storm Shadow. In between these epic wars, he enjoyed swimming and playing basketball, but always had a fascination with logos and textures that set him apart from an early age.

By middle school, Josh was already deep in QuarkXpress and Photoshop on his family's 486 computer, soaking up everything he could about professional design workflows from the publishing and pre-press world around him. When the internet started changing everything, he didn't just adapt - he dove headfirst into web design, animation, and programming, treating each new challenge as another puzzle to solve.

Josh's early expertise in Macromedia Flash opened doors to agency work and freelance opportunities that kept getting bigger and more interesting. Over the years, he's tackled projects for automotive companies, major brands, game developers, and corporate clients who needed someone who could think strategically and execute flawlessly. His approach has always been simple: understand the problem, find the most elegant solution, and deliver something that actually works.

These days, Josh spends his time deep in 3D work, animation, and motion design, while also building interactive applications in Unity with C#. It's not about chasing trends - it's about having the right skills to solve whatever creative challenge comes next. This combination of artistic thinking and technical capability means he can lead creative teams while still getting his hands dirty with the actual work.

Whether working solo or directing teams of varying sizes, Josh has worn just about every hat you can think of over his 20+ year career. What stays consistent is his approach - collaborative, practical, and focused on getting great work out the door. He believes the best creative solutions come from teams that actually talk to each other and aren't afraid to iterate until they get it right. Josh continues pushing his creative boundaries and building work that matters, always hunting for opportunities to tackle complex problems with organizations that value both innovation and results.
